EWB Finland at the Aalto Party

We had a great time at the Aalto Party in Otaniemi, where we connected with many students and future changemakers. Our team was stationed at Tent 40 to discuss our mission, projects, and how engineering can create a sustainable impact in communities worldwide. It was a fantastic opportunity to share our passion for humanitarian engineering with the Aalto community.

EWB Finland’s Collaborative Meeting with EWB Sweden

In the spirit of global collaboration, our team had a productive meeting with Carin Balfe Arbman from Engineers Without Borders Sweden. We were inspired by their fantastic social media strategy and community engagement work.

We are grateful to Carin for sharing valuable insights and best practices that will help us strengthen our communication efforts and expand our impact through humanitarian engineering action. This meeting highlights the importance of knowledge-sharing within the global EWB community.

Mentoring Program Empowers Refugee and Migrant Engineers

The Startup Refugees succesfully conducted Mentoring program for Engineers. 

On the closing event, our Chairman, Lukas Kotrbaty, was a guest speaker alongside Sergei Khakalo from Aalto University, where they shared their knowledge and inspiring stories. The mentees also bravely took the stage to share their own journeys and accomplishments.
