EWB – Aalto University, Finland's first student chapter
We are a student-led initiative bringing together people from different academic backgrounds who share an interest in engineering, sustainability, and real-world impact. Through projects, workshops, and collaboration, we develop solutions that are technically sound, socially responsible, and built to last.
What We Do
We focus on three core areas. First, hands-on projects that tackle real sustainability challenges with practical, measurable outcomes. Second, learning and development through workshops and collaboration that build skills in engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving. Third, building connections between students, the university, and external partners who share our values.
Where We Are Now
We were founded in 2026 and are currently in the early stages of building our chapter. Our focus is on launching our first projects, establishing a strong internal structure, and growing an active student community. We are moving fast and always looking for people to grow with us.
Our First Project
We are currently developing our first project, focused on a practical engineering challenge within our local context. The goal is to build experience, demonstrate impact, and create a strong foundation for future initiatives. More details coming soon.
